Dried figs 1 cup
Seedless dates 1 cup
Almond 1/4 cup
Cashew nuts 1/4 cup
Pistachios 2 tbs
Desiccate Coconut – 1/4 Cup
Ghee / clarified butter 1/ 4 cup
Soak dried figs in a cup of warm water for an hour or until soft.
Drain and make a puree using a little water if required.
Chop seedless dates and soak in half a cup of hot water till soft .
Drain and make a puree using little water ONLY if required.
Meanwhile finely chop all the fry fruits. I use my nut cutter, you can give a run in mixer or blender each nut separately. Keep a few chopped dry fruits aside to garnish on top (optional )
Grease a tray. Heat ghee in a pan. Add figs puree and dates puree. Stir well and cook on medium heat, stirring continuously, till excess moisture dries up.
Add almonds, cashew nuts coconut and pistachios. Mix well and continue to cook stirring continuously till the mixture begins to leave the sides of the pan.
Spread evenly on the greased tray. Garnish with a few dry fruits on top .
When cool, cut into pieces and serve.
