RAINBOW JELLO ……

Who can resist fun and festive rainbow jello slices which can put a smile on anyone’s face. My kiddo loves to peel the layers of jello apart and have them 😊. These Rainbow jiggles sure make a perfect addition to any special occasion .
This recipe does take a lot of time ( around 31/2 hrs.)but the result is awesome & well worth the time ..

INGREDIENTS :
5 packages (3 ounces each) assorted flavored gelatin
7 envelopes unflavored gelatin, divided
6-3/4 cups boiling water, divided
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
¼ cup cold water

Instructions

In a small bowl, combine one package flavored gelatin and one envelope unflavored gelatin. Stir in 1 cup boiling water until dissolved.

Pour mixture into a 13-in. x 9-in. Glass dish ( I coated the dish with cooking spray so that jello can be un molded easily ones set )

Refrigerate the layer until set but not firm, about 15 minutes..( I set up the kitchen timer )

In small bowl, combine the condensed milk and 1 ¾ cup boiling water.

In another bowl, sprinkle two envelopes unflavored gelatin over ¾ cold water; let stand for 1 minute. Add to sweetened condensed milk mixture.
Spoon ¾ cup of the creamy gelatin mixture over the first flavored gelatin layer. Refrigerate until set but not firm, about 15 minutes.

Repeat from beginning of recipe alternating flavored gelatin with creamy gelatin layers.

Make final flavored gelatin and spoon over top.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours after finishing last layer before cutting into 1-in. squares.
Serve and enjoy

NOTE :

I put the 9×13-inch pan in the freezer for 30 mins before starting to prepare the jello so that the first layer set up quickly in the refrigerator .

Make sure to Spray the glass pan with cooking spray so that jello does not get stuck to the pan .

If the Jello starts setting at room temperature, put it in the microwave for about 20 seconds to bring it back to a liquid state, let it cool for a few minutes, and then pour it …

  1. So colorful.You mentioned creamy gelatin mixture layers. So do we have to mix seperately for each layer or we can make at once and add it to layers?
