On the 9th Day of my Bakes and treats Marathon, I bring to you Mint Chocolate Chips Fudge . I make this fudge year-round, but especially at Christmastime as its festive … I especially love this recipe because it is so easy to make and yet it always gets lots of compliments when people see the chocolate chips and when they taste them…
For this festive fudge we will be needing :
3 cups white chocolate chips
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1tsp mint extract ( i like it mild , you can add more if you like stronger mint flavor )
green food coloring
1 cup mini chocolate chips, divided ( I used some mint chocolate chips too on the top )
Line an 8×8 square pan with foil and lightly spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk and stir until it’s all melted and smooth.
Once completely , Add mint extract and food coloring to desired color.
let cool for a few minutes then fold in 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips.
Press fudge into prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining mini chocolate chips on top and gently press into fudge.
Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours to set before cutting into squares.
Store in an airtight container…
